Overview

The Basic to Advanced Andrology Certificate Course at SEART is a 15-day certificate course that introduces male reproductive biology and the main techniques used in an andrology laboratory.

Learning areas include male reproductive anatomy and spermatogenesis, semen analysis, sperm function tests, sperm preparation techniques and an introduction to sperm retrieval techniques.

Eligibility

  • Undergraduate Background: A B.Sc. or equivalent degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Genetics, or Zoology.
  • BSc MLT or DMLT, or a recognized medical/nursing qualification.

Male reproductive biology

  • Anatomy and physiology

Semen analysis
